Plex on Your PC

There are multiple ways to watch Plex on your computer.

Open Plex directly in your browser:

Plex Web App

This option requires no installation and works from most modern web browsers.

For the best experience, install the Plex desktop application for your operating system:

• Windows: Plex for Windows (Microsoft Store)
• macOS: Plex for macOS
• Linux: Plex for Linux

The desktop application provides a dedicated Plex experience and supports features that may not be available in a web browser.

Plex allows you to customize the items displayed in the left navigation menu so your favorite libraries are always easy to access.

1. Open Plex and sign in.
2. Locate the library you want to pin in the left navigation pane.
3. Hover your mouse over the library name.
4. Click the More (⋯) menu if available.
5. Select Pin.

The library will now appear in your primary navigation menu for quick access.

1. Find the pinned library in the left navigation menu.
2. Click the More (⋯) menu next to the library.
3. Select Unpin.

The library will be removed from your pinned navigation items but will remain available on the server.

1. In the left navigation menu, click and hold a pinned library.
2. Drag the library to the desired position.
3. Release the mouse button to save the new order.

Your pinned items will appear in the order you choose.

For the easiest experience, consider unpinning everything there by default and pinning the following items from TheMasalaPot:

• Anime
• Comedy Specials
• Documentaries (both short and long form)
• Movies
• TV Shows

This keeps your most-used content visible and minimizes navigation through menus. Don'tforget to reorder them to your liking!
